Bactigent Suspension

Formulation: Each 5ml (1 teaspoonful) contains: Amoxicillin Trihydrate equivalent to Amoxicillin USP… 250 mg
Product Description: Amoxicillin is a semi-synthetic Penicillin, a close chemical and pharmacological relative of Ampicillin. The drug is stable in acid and is designed for oral use. The antimicrobial spectrum of Amoxicillin is essentially identical to the Ampicillin with the important exception that Amoxicillin appears to be less effective than Ampicillin for Shigellosis.

Dosage:
Children:
7-12 years old: 5 ml – 7.5 ml (1-1 ½ teaspoonful)
3-6 years old: 2.5 mL-5 mL (1/2- 1 teaspoonful)
1-2 years old: 1.25 ml – 2.5 ml (1/4 – ½ teaspoon)
All doses to be taken every eight hours. Or as prescribed by physician.
