Formulation: Each vial contains: Omeprazole (as Sodium))…40mg
Each ampuole contains: Sterile Water for |Injection…10mL
Product Description: White powder.
Generic Name: Omeprazole
Pharmacological Category: Proton Pump (H+ K+ ATPase) Inhibitor
Disage: Prophylaxis of acid aspiration, 40mg completed 1 hour before surgery. 40mg once daily for Benign astric ulcer, duodenal ulcer and gastroesophageal. 80mg initial intravenous infusion for Severe peptic ulcer then continuous IV infusion, 8mg/hr for 72 hours (then change to oral therapy.
Route of Administration: By Intravenous injection and by Infusion.
Availability: 10mL USP Type III Amber Glass Vial with Pink Flip-off Seal + 10mL Sterile Water for Injection= as Diluent (Box of 1 Vial + Diluent)
