Indication: For the management of reversible airways obstruction, as in asthma and in some patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases. It is also used as prophylactic agent for premature labor. FDA Reg. No.: DRP-2390-02
Formulation: Each 5ml (1 teaspoonful) contains:
Terbutaline Sulfate, PP…. 1.5 mg
Product Description: Terbutaline Sulfate is a broncodilator primarily used in the symptomatic treatment of bronchial asthma by relieving bronchospasm and reducing airway resistance.

Dosage:
Adults:
As bronchodilator: 2.5 mg to 5 mg (2 to 3 teaspoonfuls), 3 times a day, every 6 hours
As labor (premature) inhibitor: 2.5 mg (1 to 2 teaspoonfuls) every 4 to 6 hours until termination of premature labor
Adult dose must not exceed 15 mg per 24 hours
Children:
7 years to 15 years old: 2.5 mg (1 to 2 teaspoonfuls), 2 to 3 times a day, every 6 hours. Or as prescribed by the physician
